Terms and Conditions

Venue Hire Fee:

A non-refundable venue hire fee of $500 is required to secure a function booking.

Menu choices and final numbers:

Menu choices are to be confirmed two weeks prior to your event. Final numbers and dietary requirements are due one week prior to your event. At this point we will send you your final invoice to be paid within 24 hours of receiving. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of your event and the forfeiture of any monies paid.

Licence conditions:

Maximum capacity of 150pax. Last beverages served at 10.45pm. All patrons must vacate premises by 11.30pm. Alcohol is not permitted to be removed from the licensed area, and no BYO. Please consider our neighbours when leaving the venue.

Responsible service of alcohol & behaviour:

In accordance with liquor laws Crest Birubi Beach reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any person showing signs of intoxication. It is expected that the event organiser will be responsible for the behaviour of their guests. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to consume alcohol and must remain in the presence of a responsible adult.

Entertainment/Music:

Unless you have exclusive use of Crest Birubi Beach for your event, music will be controlled by Crest Birubi Beach. Any entertainment will cease at 10.30pm. If there are complaints from neighbours Crest Birubi Beach reserves the right to control volume or stop any entertainment.

Damage:

Any damage to property or persons at Crest Birubi Beach remains the responsibility of the function organiser.

Weather:

Occasional severe storms may result in loss of power and other essential services. Crest Birubi Beach will work with the function organiser to achieve the best outcome at the time or reschedule the event for a mutually agreed time. No refunds will be paid in this instance.

Decorations & Cleaning:

We do not permit decorations to be fixed to walls, windows, etc. No confetti or table scatters. Balloons should be secured and cannot be released from the venue. The venue will be cleaned prior to any function booking. In the event of any damage or additional cleaning requirements the function organiser will be required to make payment.

Disabled Access & Toilets:

There is wheelchair access via the ramp from the car park and Crest Birubi Beach is a fully wheelchair accessible restaurant. We do not have our own bathroom facilities but share the bathrooms with the surf club (disabled bathroom included). Whilst we will ensure that bathrooms are well cleaned prior to any event please be aware that they are also used by the general public.

COVID Safety:

: Crest Birubi Beach is a registered COVID safe venue and our COVID plan is up to date. As per NSW Government requirements all guests are required to check in prior to entry using the Service NSW QR code.
